The power of the flower…

But the one thing that will always stand out are the flowers. Done well, they add to the event like frosting to the cake. After all, without frosting, all a cake really amounts to is sweet bread that cooked a little too airily. Done poorly flowers will..you know what, I won’t even go there for fear of the jinx ;-) Read on and see some more work from Carla at Elements in Old Lyme…

Jennie and I have been shooting around at different locations with diferent couples putting together a portfolio of what our vision is. We were lucky enough to have met Carla from Elements flowers very early on when we started this venture. She wanted great images of her flowers because she never seemed to get any after the event. So in quid-pro-quo fashion, Carla gives some floral flare to our shoots, and we provide her with great images.
As you may have guessed, these are teaser images for the full shoot so keep watching!

Amanda and Dave (our bride and groom, respectively) spent an afternoon with us setting a scence of beauty and elegance set against this classic New England Treasure.
