Wadsworth Mansion Wedding Engagement-4665

Michelle, Brian and I got together at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT on a surprisingly warm January day.  They are one of the cutest couples I’ve ever worked with!  I think you could put these two in front of any building and they would make it look that much better, even this beautiful mansion! We made our way around the grounds and got some really nice images.  I think Michelle may have frozen her toes but I give her credit for sticking it out.  Also, despite how difficult it is these days to find cool shoes, they had ‘em ;-) Thanks guys!  I can’t wait for the wedding!

0083Lisa and Brody Wadsworth Museum Middletown CT-2118

Lisa and Brody are a 2012 wedding of mine at the Golden Lamb Buttery here in Brooklyn, CT.  We met up at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT for their engagement shoot.  If you’ve never been to the mansion, definitely take the time to go out and have a look.  The grounds were the perfect place to shoot with a wide open lawn, rows of trees, gorgeous moss-covered stone walls, and a mansion that for all it’s grandeur, seems to nestle in perfectly with the surroundings.  Lisa and Brody were a blast to work with.  Once we got into a rhythm, we really got some great images.

029Kylie and Rob Webb Deane Stevens Barn Wethersfield CT Wedding

Kylie and Rob were married at the Webb Deane Stevens Museum with a fantastic reception in the barn on the property.  I started the day shooting Kylie’s getting ready pictures at the Silas W. Robbins House Bed and Breakfast.   The day started off pretty mellow with some chit chat and photos.  Everyone was calm and having a real nice time.  The wedding ceremony was held beside the gardens at the museum and everything went really well.  Kylie and Rob delivered a delightful toast of thanks and the food was fantastic.  Then came the dancing.  They danced every moment of the reception until it ended.  And I don’t mean just dancing, I mean DANCING!!!  The rafters of the barn had to have been swaying and as the beat drove on one could feel the floor flex with the rhythmic movement of the revelers.  Non-stop, all night.  Liss and I agreed when
