Every now and again I'm lucky enough to have a bride book me and the only way we're going to get an engagement session done is for me to have to travel to NYC ;-) I love getting down there every so often and if it's for an engagement shoot even better!
That being said, their wedding was right in my back yard of eastern Connecticut! The Inn at Woodstock Hill is right up the road and it really is a beautiful location. Betty and Mark's wedding was one that was a little different and I must say it was an honor to photograph their big day! I had the amazing responsibility of shooting family that came from, quite literally, around the globe.
The day was truly astounding! A wedding that was a reunion or vice versa, I'm not sure, but the whole thing worked beautifully! We had some time to make some very nice portraits, there was dancing and the day ended for me with some games, one of which really tested Mark's "footing" in his relationship with Betty ;-) I'll leave that horrible pun for those that were there, they'll get it!
Congratulations Betty and Mark!
