Kate and Chad got married in Mystic and had their reception in the mini-Newport that is Groton Long Point! I was so happy to be a part of their cozy community for their big day! It was a whirlwind for sure, so many stops for pictures, we even made an old school packy-run with the party bus! But I'll say this, there was love everywhere. Friends, family, you name it, you guys have some real fans! But the best part is that they got married! I'm so blessed to have so many amazing couples to work with! Kate and Chad, thank you for trusting me with your biggest day ever!
I was blessed to be asked to photograph Jenn and Shelby's wedding. I fell for them when I shot their engagement shoot. But when I shot their wedding, OMG! I loved working with them, but I have to say, EVERYONE in attendance was wonderful to work with! A wedding shrouded in love is a powerful force to contend with. Jenn and Shelby, thank you for an amazing day!
Sarah and Jon. What can I say, farming is a big part of the tapestry of their lives. When we first met, Sarah had expressed an interest in photographing their engagement in the snow. Well, when the first real snow arrived here in southern CT, I got a text message: "are you up for photographing a snowball fight?" I ended up borrowing a 4 wheel drive vehicle and made my way north to Jon's family farm in the N.E. corner of CT. We made the most of the snow, had a snowball fight and even caught the tail end of the storm as it moved off. In all, it was a fantastic opportunity and I think we made some truly great images!
